you really wanna know?

So there's this blog, 25 Things About My Sexuality. Wherein people list (you guessed it) 25 things about their sexuality. Kinda like that "25 RANDOM FACTS ABOUT ME" meme that went around Facebook for awhile there. I'll probably submit one there with the really dirty secrets at some point. For now, here's this:



25 (fairly tame) things about my sex life

1. I identify as bisexual although I haven't had nearly as many sexual encounters with females as I'd have liked to. All of my serious (or even semi-serious) relationships have been with guys. I aim to change that this year if given the chance.

2. During the early part of high school I claimed "I don't swing that way" when one of my female friends said something about kissing me because I honestly didn't think I did at that point. A year or so later I realized I was actually highly attracted to that friend (still am come to that) and quietly changed my Facebook "interested in" status to "men and women"

3. I realize that I probably more accurately fit somewhere closer to pan-sexual. Honestly I don't pay attention to gender. It's about as relevant to me as where someone went to school or where they grew up. Yeah it's interesting, but it doesn't change whether or not I'm attracted to them. I guess I sorta fall somewhere between bisexual and pansexual? I dunno. I don't think it's that important.

4. I REALLY like penetrative sex. I'm one of the something like 8% of women that can orgasm from vaginal stimulation alone. I absolutely LOVE to feeling of someone or something in me to the point that when I'm fooling around with a guy, there usually comes a point where I say something along the lines of "I need you in me." Need is really the only appropriate word. Not want. Not would like. Nope. NEED.

5. I love giving guys head. It's such a power trip! Feeling their penis swell in my mouth always gives me this nice sense of pride. Like "Yeah! See! I did that!" I'm also apparently pretty good at it. So I'm sure that helps some.

6. On a related topic, my technique for giving BJs has been developed not only through some practice but also because of a childhood habit. I sucked my thumb as a kid. Still do when I'm sort of out of it, wicked stressed, or falling asleep. So one of the first times I went down on a guy, there was something oddly familiar about the sensation of a warm body part in my mouth. At that point instinct sorta kicked in I guess and I started sucking the way I suck my thumb. Later on my then boy-toy not only kissed me quite soundly for being the only chick to ever make him come from just oral but also asked me "Where the hell did you learn to do that?" ^_^ like I said, power trip.

7. I like when someone goes down on me but I'm never quite sure what to do with myself. Thrusting up at them is probably rude and definitely makes it more difficult for them to hit the right spots but laying still is SO hard. When things feel good I tend to thrust involuntarily which apparently resulted in me getting.... well... me all over the first guy to eat me out. Whoops.

8. I like the idea of dirty talk. And I like it coming from the other person I'm in bed with. But using it myself is really difficult for me. I can type the word pussy just fine. But actually saying it or sexting it or whatever to someone else? It just feels weird. Same with clit and most of the slang/non-scientific terms for female genitalia. Male anatomy I'll call whatever. But with chicks? It's either medical terms or delicate/girly bits. Although I have no problem asking people to fuck me senseless so... I dunno.

9. I've never been in a closed, intentionally monogamous sexual relationship. I've been in sexual relationship where I'm only fucking one person with any kind of regularity but that's not usually because we've decided not to do other people but rather that we haven't had time, reason, or opportunity to do so.  So when one guy started expecting that of me.... I didn't really know how. To be fair I didn't really want that and I was pretty sure I'd made that clear which added to the confusion. But that's another story for another time.

10. I don't think making out with people means anything. It's a pleasurable sensation when it's with someone with whom you've got chemistry. Absolutely. But making out does not mean I'm in love with someone and doesn't mean I'm instantly going to bed with them either. I think people need to stop making such a big deal out of me kissing people. I do that. Especially when drunk. =P

11. I'm sensitive EVERYWHERE. Just about everything is ticklish and anything that's ticklish probably is sexual at least somewhat.

12. Kiss my neck and I'm yours. Especially if you can hit the sweet spot just right.

13. I've come from someone kissing or touching my erogenous zones. Kisses on my upper back near my shoulder blades especially. Sometimes just doing that gets me halfway there without much else involved.

14. I love being the little spoon. I like feeling protected and cared for. It's a warm and safe feeling that I don't get from much else.

15. Sex in that spooning position is incredible. Doggy fashion is my favorite but when combined with spooning like that. guh! I'm in heaven. hits my g-spot and satisfies my desire to be close to someone all at once. it's great.

16. I've definitely squirted at least once. Probably more than once. But the one time definitely sticks in my mind because it was just so funny. I felt it coming and was pretty sure it'd happened. So I asked my boyfriend at the time and he said "well I dunno. it was wet. and then suddenly there was a flood. so yeah, I think it worked." XD

17. that same boyfriend once remarked on how sensitive I was. he took my hand to demonstrate "see this I'm doing?" he asked, caressing my hand very gently "this is all you need." (he was quite right given that he was turning me on from just that. lol) "but see this," he ground his thumb very hard into my hand such that I winced and pulled away "is what [his ex] needs. lighter than that and she can't feel it. I'm sorry if this is too weird but when I'm inside you... I dunno it feels like you have something that she's missing. it's strange."

18. I'm really a firm believer in "not the size of the boat but the motion of the ocean". XD there's also something to be said for the response to that "but it takes a long time to get to england in a rowboat" but y'know what? it's fine if you like to row. just sayin.

19. I know for a fact that I make highly bizarre faces and sounds during sex. apparently they're wicked hot though because "you never make that face/sound any other time!" I still don't get it. but whatever.

20. I took the virginity of one of my friends in a lesbian two and a half way. (two girls, one MtF mid transition) it was hilarious and drunken and probably one of my best sex stories.

21. I lost my virginity to the guy I had a crush on freshman year of high school. it didn't hurt a bit which I thought was pretty awesome. I don't regret any single part of that night.

22. I know the exact date I lost my virginity because it was the night I graduated.

23. I had this thing where I wanted to be able to say I graduated high school a virgin and my little stepsister didn't. I can now say that.

24. the night of my graduation my then "it's complicated" and I were fooling around. he was drunk and high. at some point there was a lull in the action and I turned towards him and said "hey. I graduated." he said "I know. Congratulations" and I said "no no you don't understand. I GRADUATED" at which point he was like "OH! Oh wow... I umm... are you sure?" and spent like 2 full minutes trying to be certain I was absolutely sure. Until I grabbed a condom and handed it to him. Apparently the next day he was really freaked out and worried that he'd taken advantage of me.... that is until he remembered that I picked him up from the bar in that intoxicated state. So I knew damn well what I was getting into and, in fact, it was more like I had taken advantage of him. XD

25. in writing these I've realized that the two guys I've ever been in a sexual relationship with are now no longer speaking to me. ...okay well the one is but I'm not speaking to him (he left me for his female roommate. I'm still smarting from that.) point being that I'm on perfectly good terms with my other exes. as I am with my totally casual hook-ups (both male and female). but the two guys with whom I ever had even semi-serious sexual relationships...... ooooh that didn't end well.
